After 6 albums in less than 10 years, marked by multiple stage recognitions and awards from their peers, RED BEANS & PEPPER SAUCE continues to carve its path. With their bluesy inspirations serving a punchy repertoire, saturated and filled with soul, influenced by Zeppelin-like sounds and supported by inventive compositions played by top-notch musicians, the Montpellier quintet led by the exceptional voice of the formidable singer Jessyka Aké returns with a new album that restores the nobility of heavy blues classic rock. Always ready to take on challenges, Red Beans & Pepper Sauce wanted to confront their unique sound with a new environment. Thus, the legendary Rockfield Studios, nestled in a farm in Wales that has hosted QUEEN, OASIS, COLDPLAY, and BLACK SABBATH among others, welcomed them for a session. The Welsh countryside, which inspired acoustic desires in Jimmy Page and Robert Plant for Led Zeppelin III, seems to have had the same effect on the Red Beans, who treat us to a magnificent country-rock ballad as well as a very original version of the famous "Rock and Roll" in a heavy, swampy electric blues style. Thus, these Rockfield Sessions offer a striking contrast between the powerful sound of the 8 tracks recorded at Rythm Design studio in Montpellier and the very warm vintage patina of the 3 tracks recorded in this monument of rock history.
