Raekwon's new album is the first solo album from one of the members of the Wu Tang Clan that does not feature any other members of the Crew. One can understand the frustration related to the way RZA has led the clan in recent years, which has pushed him to make his voice resonate outside the confines of the Wu Tang Clan. In this album, Raekwon talks a lot about his experience and heritage, but also about the younger generation of rappers who, in his view, take too many risks in gang wars. He adopts a big brother position and reflects on his mistakes and his adolescence. There are some notable features on this record, including G-Eazy, Lil Wayne, and CeeLo Green.
