RADUX was formed in 2013 from the ashes of several bands. Quickly, the newly formed band made the Finnish clubs vibrate. The first two demos were, as is proper, released on cassette in 2016. The first big hit then came in 2018 on vinyl via Svart Records: the EP "Disaster Imminent", which was also released on CD (with the live recording "Crash Landings" as a bonus) by Golden Core in 2023 and scored 8 out of 10 in Rock Hard magazine, among others. This gave the band, whose line-up had solidified in the meantime, enough time to work on the debut album "It's Going To Be A Great Day". It was also produced by Arttu Hällila (Imperia among others). The comparison with the early days of Nuclear Assault is undeniable, but Radux has enough independence to make a name for itself in the long term. There are only few interruptions and the term "oldschool" is also in first place. The cover art recalls socially critical thrash albums from the late eighties. Those who want a high-speed adrenaline rush have found the right remedy with Radux. Oldschool thrash cannot sound more intense.
