With her album "Hard To Follow," Sandrine becomes QUÉTIER. During the recording of the vocals, with her producer James Eleganz's encouragements in her ear, Sandrine knew exactly what she wanted. From co-writing several tracks to making decisions on the arrangements, she indeed took the reins of her record, keeping in mind some big names in female rock: Blondie, The Kills, The Pretenders, Gossip... It's not her style to be forced into a collection of conventional covers, as had already been suggested to "the girl from television." Between intimate songs, rock tracks, and almost disco escapades driven by the prominently placed bass, Sandrine Quétier offers us a very eclectic album.
