The year 1981 was particularly rich for Queen and gave rise to some of the most important and memorable concerts of the band’s career. Queen had just experienced its most successful period in North America, reaching number one on the US singles charts with “Another One Bites The Dust” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” as well as on the albums chart with The Game. The year ends in apotheosis with two concerts at the Forum in Montreal. The setlist brings together the band’s biggest hits and live essentials, including “Another One Bites The Dust,” “We Will Rock You,” “Somebody To Love,” “Killer Queen” and “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Queen also opens the concert with a faster, more rock version of “We Will Rock You,” performs a cover of “Jailhouse Rock,” and presents “Under Pressure,” just recorded with David Bowie. This 3 LP immortalizes these two memorable Canadian concerts, evenings that neither the band nor the audience are likely to forget.
