Salaire de la misère - Hommage aux travailleurs du midi

Description

QUARTIERS NORD is the Marseille rock band! The group has been developing its immediately recognizable music since 1977, music made up of a delicious blend of Phocean poetry, good old rock n’ roll, and Eastern influences. It perfectly reflects the cosmopolitan makeup of the band, which today consists of around ten musicians. Among the founding members are Philippe TROÏSI and Alain CHIARAZZO, future members of ECLAT. QUARTIERS NORD created a musical style that has since inspired many imitators, starting with the Toulousains of ZEBDA. After around ten albums, the band returns today at the peak of its form with "L'Internationale Massaliote" (2003): this little masterpiece contains almost nothing but potential hits, like "Tombé Du Camion" or "Déferlante De Maquereaux En Quête De Girelles Au Large de Planier".
