Perth favorites Psychedelic Porn Crumpets continue their 2025 assault with the release of a brand-new single and the announcement of their seventh album, due in May 2025. Titled Carpe Diem, Moonman, the record promises another strange and wonderful dive into the mind of Jack McEwan, the frontman of the Australian quintet. The announcement comes with an unreleased single, Weird World Awoke, a furious blast of inimitable rock and roll, driven by a whirlwind of lyrics in step with a frantic tempo and wild guitar slaloms. Jack McEwan describes this new opus as follows: “Carpe Diem, Moonman is a tangle of chaos, the result of an excessive tour, an explosion of doubt, wonder, excitement, dog bites, Greek philosophy, death, wild weekends and… a partridge in a pear tree. Quite a mix. It contains an infinity of genres, flavors, crackers and fairground attractions.
