Based in Auckland, Chelsea Nikkel, aka Princess Chelsea, has been shaping a unique pop sound since the early 2010s, where baroque melodies, vintage synthesizers, and subtly offbeat humor come together. With The Loneliest Girl, recorded in her personal studio between 2016 and 2017 and co-produced with Jonathan Bree, she favors spontaneous takes and meticulously crafted arrangements to preserve the momentum of each composition.
