Come

Description

CD reissue of Prince’s 15th album, released in August 1994. Includes the singles “Come,” “Letitgo,” and “Space.” “Come” is Prince’s fifteenth studio album. It was released on August 16, 1994, on Warner Bros Records. At the time of its release, Prince was in a public dispute with his then record label, Warner Bros. The album would be Prince’s last Warner Bros album under his own name. The overall mood of the album is dark, but the musical expressions are varied. “Loose!” is an acid house pop song, “Dark” is old school soul, and “Solo” is simply incredible: Prince and a harp. It is also worth noting “Papa,” a track on the theme of domestic violence similar to the extravagant “Sister” from Dirty Mind.
