Description

For her second album of her discography, Pretty Yende chose the virtuosic airs of operas, the bel canto scenes, which she has been singing for several years on the great stages of the world.
In Paris, everyone remembers the phenomenal successes she experienced during her performances at Bastille of Rossini's The Barber of Seville and then Lucia di Lammermoor in 2016. During a performance of Lucia, the standing audience demanded and received an encore of the Mad Scene… a first at the Opéra Bastille!
Pretty Yende received a triumphant welcome from the French press (Le Monde, Le Figaro, Libération), from the radio, as well as from television, where she was notably a guest of Yann Barthès on Quotidien.
