NEW MISERABLE EXPERIENCE is a collective from Philadelphia that transforms the rigor of heavy music into expansive and melodic compositions, at the crossroads of alternative and synth-rock. Born from a file exchange between singer/bassist David Grossman (ex-Rosetta) and multi-instrumentalist Joshua Mahesh Kost, the project became a full-fledged band bringing together Bruce "B.J." McMurtrie Jr. (Rosetta) on drums, Brett Bamberger (Revocation) on bass, and Brody Uttley (Rivers of Nihil) on guitar.
