Originally released on CD in 2008, the mini-album (29 minutes of music) was written during the sessions of Fear Of A Blank Planet, completed in the summer of 2007, and is presented as a coherent and standalone work of Porcupine Tree in its own right.
The title track features Robert Fripp on solo guitar, and the album traverses the entire spectrum of Porcupine Tree, from atmospheric ambiance to melodic hooks, through crushing riffs.
This new Transmission digipack 2021 reissue of Nil Recurring remains true to the original artwork.
