Description

Poolside started in Los Angeles in 2011 as a sunny, underwater indie dance project. They caught attention with their track "Do You Believe" on YouTube, earning the favor of well-known DJs like James Murphy, Derrick May, and the king of nu disco, Todd Terje. Their remix of "In The Grace of Your Love" by The Rapture allowed them to open for the band on their American tour. This was followed by a debut album, featuring remixes that would make anyone envious (Matthew Dear, Little Dragon). This new album follows the same principle, with laid-back disco, uptempo dance tracks, and pop guitars set to California's time zone. Poolside is like a travel agency, offering an immediate desire for a change of scenery. Available on CD and LP.
