Playing for change 3 : Songs around the world - Inclus DVD bonus

Description

The 10-track CD is accompanied by a 7-track DVD featuring 5 live performances. Also on the DVD: the trailer for the documentary film Playing for Change (PFC), as well as information about the PFC Foundation. For a decade, engineer/producer Mark Johnson (a Grammy Award winner) has been traveling the world with his Playing For Change team with a single passion in mind: connecting musicians from around the world on timeless anthems. This ambitious journey begins in post-apartheid South Africa and continues through the Middle East before reaching the Himalayas. Using modern equipment, the PFC team is constantly filming, capturing and recording more than a hundred musicians, mostly outdoors: parks, public squares and wide avenues, in front of doorways, on cobblestone streets or in the heart of pueblos in the hills. Each recorded performance creates a new mix where all the artists play together in a way... even if hundreds or thousands of kilometers separate them.
