Occhi turchini marks the return of an exciting singer and instrumentalist, as well as an exceptional actor, Pino De Vittorio, who is immersed in the musical culture of Calabria. Franco Pavan and his Laboratorio '600 are also passionate about the musical traditions of the tip of the Italian boot and join the singer. This new program includes traditional songs that influenced Neapolitan baroque opera, a parody of the Te Deum in Calabrian, and illustrates the reflections of other cultures - Byzantine, Greek, Arab - that have permeated the region over the centuries.
