After a year of celebrating his 70th anniversary with several orchestral music recordings, Jos Van Immerseel returns to chamber music and supporting young talents, two absolute priorities for him.
With Chouchane Siranossian, he finds a partner of choice, equally skilled on modern and baroque violin, a student of Tibor Varga, then of Zakhar Brand, a disciple of Reinhard Goebel, whose first record released by Ohms was highly acclaimed (Diapason d'Or). Here, it is the baroque violinist who dialogues with the harpsichord of Jos Van Immerseel in a Franco-Italian program, which mixes the music of "the angel" Leclair with "the devil" Locatelli, not to mention the famous "Devil's Trills" by Tartini. Music that is especially "devilishly" difficult to play, which the Franco-Armenian violinist masters perfectly, with great inventiveness.
