One day, we meet Paolo: his music, his voice, his strangeness, "la sua poesia."
And we can't do without it, we live with it.
Except that for us, "la sua poesia" must become, through the favor of a translation, "his poetry": and that is what he wishes for as well.
So we discover his reason for being, that of another man, grappling with life, women, love, friendship, the joy of living, exoticism: in short, he becomes our "favorite extraterrestrial."
Because Paolo lives his passions like no one else, he presents them to us with notes, words, scats that belong only to him and that must be respected and not betrayed.
This fidelity has been the primary concern of Pierre SANTINI, his French translator and interpreter, it is the purpose of this concert. Paolo is satisfied with it, he does not hide it and is grateful to us.
