PHOX

Description

The addictive debut album from an eclectic band. Phox is a 6-piece band of friends from the Midwest, an eclectic mix of musicians with diverse influences who met on the high school benches. PHOX spans several genres; their music is an intoxicating blend of rock, psychedelia, and soul. Their first track, "Slow Motion," has the power to transport you into a nostalgic summer mood that makes listening addictive. Monica Martin’s smoky jazz voice adds a powerful layer to the pop composition, punctuated by clarinet interludes. “Their tracks are incredibly collective, a subtle canvas of the whole on which each person weaves their part” LA BLOGOTHÈQUE (TAKE WAY SHOW) “An American band we’re likely to hear a lot about when the new term starts!” FLAVOR MAGAZINE
