Description

The debut album from the Versailles pop prodigies, United received a mixed reception in France while being praised across the Channel. With appearances by Thomas Bangalter, Camille Bazbaz, and Philippe Zdar in production, this record has all the assets to succeed. The tangy pop with groovy influences of this opus does not achieve unanimous approval, but it will eventually establish itself and allow Phoenix to become one of the most influential bands of the 2000s.
