It’s the story of a violin, an accordion, and a cello that meet on the benches of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris. “Beethoven, Pärt, Vivaldi, Prokofiev mixed with strings and an accordion, that’s bold!” An Honorary and Public Prize at the international Léopold Bellan competition later: it’s a hit! Because these three young, multi-award-winning artists are anything but classical. Lisa Strauss, Théo Ould, and François Pineau-Benois harmonize their differences across all styles, from baroque to contemporary. Régis Campo and Tomas Gubitsch entrust them with their creations, while directors Yvan Schreck and Romain Winkler collaborate with their talents. Their musical friendship modernizes the repertoire, mixes genres, and energizes, revealing a young generation of creatives.
