Phil Collins’ ‘Take A Look At Me Now’ reissue campaign enters its third phase with the release of expanded, bonus-track and remastered versions of ‘No Jacket Required’ and ‘Testify’ on April 15. ‘Testify’, originally released in 2002, is his last album of original compositions. It is certainly his most introspective work, as evidenced by ‘This Love This Heart’ and ‘You Touch My Heart’, but ‘Testify’ also explores other rhythmic territories with ‘Driving Me Crazy’ and its gospel-influenced title track. The album’s lead single, a reinterpretation of Leo Sayer’s ‘I Can’t Stop Loving You’, reached the top of Billboard’s Adult Contemporary Chart. As with the other albums in this collection, ‘No Jacket Required’ and ‘Going Back’ will be available in several formats: the 2CD digipack and digital versions offer the remastered album accompanied by live versions, demo tracks and rare or previously unreleased B-sides on CD. The 180gr audiophile vinyl editions containing the remastered album will be available separately.
