Spilt milk

Description

After several years devoted to more experimental and electronic projects, Pete Astor (The Loft, The Weather Prophets) returns with Spilt Milk to the guitar songs that made his name on the British indie scene. Recorded in James Hoare’s studio (Veronica Falls, The Proper Ornaments), the album favors understated arrangements where crystalline guitars, vocal harmonies and clear melodies highlight songwriting attentive to the details of everyday life. Without seeking to reconnect with the past, Spilt Milk continues the journey of a songwriter whose compositions retain the same simplicity and the same keen eye for observation as at the start of his career.
