Periphery IV: Hail Stan

Description

A truly frenetic sensory assault! A subtle, complex, and unpredictable fireworks display! For the first time in 13 years of career, the band isolated themselves for 1 year in order to compose the 9 tracks that make up this new album. For the past few years, Periphery has stood as a model to follow when it comes to Djent/Prog Metal. The band has shown itself capable of varying its directions and forging its identity, with an increasingly technical side in the service of the music. You’ll still find those storms of snarling phrasing, that incredible punch, and musicians effortlessly juggling syncopated rhythms, improbable chords, a finely crafted sense of melody, and unforgettable technical solos. A pure Periphery album, composed by a band at the peak of its chemistry with one another.
