A true frenzied sensory assault! A subtle, complex, and unpredictable fireworks display! For the first time in 13 years of career, the band isolated itself for 1 year to compose the 9 tracks that make up this new album. For a few years now, Periphery has been a model to follow when it comes to Djent/Prog Metal. The band has been able to vary its directions and forge its identity with an increasingly technical side serving the music. We still find those storms of aggressive phrasing, that incredible energy, and musicians effortlessly juggling between syncopated rhythms, improbable chords, a well-crafted sense of melody, and unforgettable technical solos. A pure Periphery album, composed by a band at the peak of its understanding between each member.
