These are not Vivaldi's "Four Seasons," but the idea is not far off. For a long time, Paul Personne had this project in mind: to record two volumes to illustrate two seasons. Today, the first of these two works is released. It is about spring. Aside from four rock tracks (La Foire à la brocante et ses objets plus que particuliers, Essayer d'y croire, J'me taille and La route), the bulk of the album consists of blues-jazz tracks with irresistible melodies. Dragging guitars, discreet drums, assumed nonchalance, the whole is of absolute charm. It must be said that behind the controls, we find Jay Newland, one of the craftsmen of Norah Jones' album... To listen to the second volume ("Coup de blues"), we will have to wait until autumn, the other season addressed by Paul Personne.
