The founding guitarist of Mr. Big and Racer X returns to top form with 12 high-flying instrumentals. Recorded by John Cuniberti (Joe Satriani) with no overdubs and in live conditions to give free rein to truly inspired musicians! Paul recently moved to Portland, Oregon, and immediately wanted to connect with the best local musicians and record an album in his new city. Brian Foxworth (drums) and Asher Fulero (keyboards) were obvious choices to play Paul's music, which blends rock, blues, jazz, and pop accents. As Paul's usual Portland bassist, Kelly Lemieux, was busy (on tour with Buckcherry), Paul called upon legendary New Orleans bassist Roland Guerin. Roland came to Portland several weeks before the recording for intense rehearsal and arrangement sessions! Nothing was left to chance...
