One of the most exciting and highly anticipated projects in the world of instrumental music is undoubtedly Parlor Greens, a newly formed trio on Colemine Records! One could say that Parlor Greens is greater than the sum of its parts... however, the individual parts are simply stellar in themselves. Tim Carman (GA-20) on drums, Jimmy James (True Loves, formerly Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio) on guitar, and Adam Scone (Scone Cash Players, The Sugarman 3) on organ. In the first ten minutes after everyone was plugged in, a song was written and recorded, "West Memphis." And over the next three days, these three maestros led a beautiful groove symphony, straight to tape. As natural and fun as three old friends reuniting after a long absence, except it was the first time they had written and played together. A true magic. So here is the result of this session. Eleven tracks. Ten originals. Two sides. All the best, nothing superfluous. Straight onto the good old Tascam 388 tape recorder.
