Vanessa Paradis

Description

1992, New York welcomes Vanessa Paradis. The city is friendly, a new space of freedom and creation opens up to the young artist. Barely 20 years old and already with a full career, with a Victoire de la musique for her first album and a César for her first film in hand. A career beginning that is already unreal, the rest will confirm an extraordinary trajectory and a sky full of stars. Vanessa is therefore in New York to record her third album, with the complicity of Lenny Kravitz, barely revealed at the time as one of the future princes of Anglo-Saxon pop soul. Brass, strings and incandescent groove radiate in cascades. Together, they shape Vanessa Paradis, sung entirely in English, in memory of the Supremes and other stars of Motown or the Stax label.
