The best of Paolo Conte

Description

A Latin playboy with the air of a grumpy bear, Paolo Conte has pursued a singular career as a jazzy crooner and inspired composer, beyond trends and time. And his songs, comic or nostalgic, often combine the exuberance and musicality of the Italian language with the bouncy swing of a piano style heavily influenced by Art Tatum. This precious compilation brings together 20 of his best tracks at once, from “Via Con Me,” full of enthusiasm and joie de vivre, to “Gli Impermeabili,” more nuanced, or “Azzurro,” his biggest hit. A little treasure.
