Limited Edition 180g Gold Marbled Vinyl Limited to 1100 CopiesWith friends, Max Raabe founded the Palast Orchester in 1986 to play music from the 1920s in Germany. The repertoire includes songs, chansons, film scores and new compositions. In 1992, Raabe became known with a solo performance of "Unter den Pinien von Argentinien" in front of a closed curtain of Peter Zadek's theater production, "Der blaue Engel," at the Theater des Westens. The first big hit, "Kein Schwein," followed. The song from the film "Der bewegte Mann" introduced the Palast Orchester with its singer Max Raabe to millions of viewers in 1994. Whether it's their own Palast Revue at the Wintergarten in Berlin, appearances at Carnegie Hall in New York, the Vienna Opera Ball or concert tours in China, Japan, Canada and Israel; Max Raabe and the Palast Orchestra still perform on the world's biggest stages today.
