The thirteen-track opus lasts over an hour, and Ozzy has reunited with Grammy®-winning producer Andrew Watt, who produced Ordinary Man, certified gold in 2020. This time, they welcomed the largest support team of Ozzy's career, which has spanned over five decades. Notable contributors include Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi (on his first track with Ozzy outside of Black Sabbath!), Joshua Homme from Queens of the Stone Age, Mike McCready from Pearl Jam, Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duff McKagan from Guns N’ Roses, Robert Trujillo from Metallica, and Zakk Wylde, who has collaborated with Ozzy on stage and in the studio since 1988. Additionally, Patient Number 9 features the last recorded performance of the late Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters, Chevy Metal, and Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders.
