The vinyl version of the CD was released in week 30/22. Ozomatli is an American multi-ethnic music group formed in 1996 in Los Angeles. They are known for their political commitments (their members support anti-war movements and advocate for social justice), but especially for the diversity of musical styles they practice, such as rock, salsa, and cumbia sung in Spanish, and hip-hop most often sung in English. In 2005, the group won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Alternative Rock Album. In 2011, the group wrote the music for the animated film 'Happy Feet 2'. 2022 Marching On cements the legacy that began with the group's self-titled debut album in 1998. David Garza (Fiona Apple, Sparta) produced the album before the 2020 pandemic at Sonic Ranch in El Paso. Ozo welcomed prominent guests who contributed to the album, including B-Real (Cypress Hill), Guatemalan singer-songwriter Gaby Moreno, J.J. FAD (Supersonic Fame), and Lisa Lisa (Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam).
