Mozart in the Jungle is an American television series developed by Roman Coppola, Jason Schwartzman, and Alex Timbers, based on oboist Blair Tindall's book Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs, and Classical Music. Crowned "Best Comedy" at the 2016 Golden Globes, this dramedy follows Rodrigo De Souza - played by Gael Garcia Bernal - the conductor of the New York Philharmonic. Barely thirty years old, this completely mad genius is inspired by Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel. The third season's soundtrack features a fine selection of more or less well-known classical pieces. It includes works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Dvořák, and Bizet, as well as by contemporary American artist Nico Muhly. 180 gr vinyl including a 4-page booklet.
