Description

After Maelström, a debut album released in 2020 that was well-received by the press (Jazz Magazine Revelation), ORNICAR returns in 2023 with their second album, Nox. Building on their many concerts that have forged a compact and powerful group sound, the power trio returns with a new opus, this time focusing on the vibrancy of live recordings. The entire album was produced in the prestigious Black Box Studio under the careful ear of Nicolas Charlier. The three musicians combine their composing talents to create a rich, original, and unique musical universe: ambient atmospheres rub shoulders with indie rock riffs in Infinite Spaces, while melancholic drill ballads lead to a psychedelic outro in 94. Energetic, electric music that invites the audience on a powerful and dreamlike journey.
