Rossini : Amor Fatale

Marina Rebeka is one of the great sopranos of her generation. To celebrate the arrival of the year 2018 as the year of Rossini, she and the Bavarian Radio Orchestra of Munich, under the direction of the Italian conductor Marco Armiliato, chose to record a disc of tragic arias from operas by Gioachino Rossini.
The composer having more than 40 operas to his credit, the singer made a careful selection between the well-known arias and those, very numerous, much less known but ideal for this project that aims to express the tragic nature of the work and give full force to the dramatic potential of the singer.
Thus "Amor Fatale" is the sincere contribution of a great soprano to the celebration of a unique composer who wrote all his life for beautiful voices, who passed away 150 years ago.
