Alvorada or the invitation to travel by the cellist Ophélie Gaillard and her magical cello, on a musical journey from Spain to South America (Brazil, Argentina, Cuba). In an exceptional blend of classical pieces and arrangements of the greatest themes of these sultry musics, the cello sings with the bandoneon, dances with the piano, guitar, and percussion, and surrenders in a loving intimacy with the voices. Alvorada immerses us in a sound universe where the frenetic energy of the rhythms of these Hispanic and South American musics puts us in a trance, from which a sensual nostalgia emerges and to which a dizzying tango responds. All the senses are awakened by the listening of these enchanting songs and rhythms. The color of the sun, from dawn to its setting, is found in the skillful blend born from the alternation of these universal and enchanting pieces. All the exceptional musicians (Sabine Devieilhe, Toquinho, Sandra Rumolino, Juanjo Mosalini, Rudi Flores, Emmanuel Rossfelder, Gabriel Sivak...) participating in the Alvorada journey hypnotize us, fascinate us, and allow us to accompany them, at every moment, in this dreamlike path proposed by Ophélie Gaillard.
