ONEREPUBLIC is already known to the public thanks to "APOLOGIZE" remixed by TIMBALAND and included in the album "SHOCK VALUE," No. 1 on NRJ, top 15 of the Top single in France. In the United States, "APOLOGIZE" broke the record for the most airplay spins in the Top 40 in just one week, with over 10,394 rotations, reaching an audience threshold of about 70 million! But the success doesn't stop there: "APOLOGIZE" is No. 1 in sales and airplay in the United States and Europe. The band was formed in Colorado by RYAN TEDDER, singer and lyricist (also a songwriter and producer for Bubba Sparxxx, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Oakenfold, t.A.T.u., and producer Timbaland), and guitarist ZACH FILKINS. It is completed by the arrival of guitarist/pianist DREW BROWN, drummer EDDIE FISHER, and bassist/cellist BRENT KUTZLE. Their first album "DREAMING OUT LOUD" is released on TIMBALAND's label. It features the original version of "APOLOGIZE" as well as the TIMBALAND remix. Upon its release, the album debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the Top Digital Album in the US! In France, this first pop rock album will be released on January 28, just after the NRJ Music Awards where the band will perform alongside their mentor TIMBALAND.
