Guitarist and songwriter, Olivier Libaux began his career in the 80s with the pop group LES OBJETS. He followed with two musical comedy albums, “L'héroïne au bain” (2003) and then “Imbécile” (2007) which brought together artists such as Philippe Katerine, Helena Noguerra, JP Nataf.
A fan of 80s new wave, Olivier founded with Marc Collin the group NOUVELLE VAGUE which would cover a selection of songs from their favorite bands in a bossa nova version (10 albums and over 15 years of international tours).
In parallel, Olivier released in 2013 under his label “Music for Music Lovers,” the album “Uncovered Queens of the Stone Age,” covers of the eponymous band.
He passed away in September 2021. He had in his bags a new side project as he wanted to return to the fundamentals, the bands and artists that probably inspired him the most: The Stranglers, Billy Idol, Kraftwerk, The Police, Talking Heads… He surrounded himself for this album with Mélanie Pain, Elodie Frégé, and Marion Grébert on vocals and Raphaël Chassin for percussion and co-production of the album.
