Olivier Ker Ourio, Quentin Dujardin, Guest Artist: David Linx. The word 'Serendipity' has entered the French language very recently. Its broad definition is the gift of making fruitful discoveries by chance. A form of understanding of things obtained through that very chance. Olivier Ker Ourio and Quentin Dujardin met in 2016 during a studio session with Richard Bona, Manu Katché, and Ivan Paduart. The common vibration they share for melodies places them before this obvious truth: to one day make a record together to capture the intensity of this original sound they sense. Since this fortunate encounter, time has shaped their respective musical approaches: jazz for the harmonica player, crossover for the guitarist. This record is a journey across an ocean of blue notes, alternating between calm seas and stormy crossings. These waves carry us from one port to another. A journey to vast spaces provoked by the kindness of chance: serendipity.
