Description

Two years after “… and The Casiotone Orchestra,” Odessey & Oracle continues its speculative and colorful explorations through adventurous sound research, blending acoustic sounds and classical, even baroque instruments with a whole palette of analog specimens from the 60s and 70s. A retro-futuristic music whose sophisticated arrangements highlight an uninhibited songwriting influenced by a variety of sources (Brian Wilson, Caetano Veloso, White Noise, JS Bach, Moondog, Robert Wyatt…). The lyrics, in French, are both surreal and utopian, reflecting a protest rooted in a current context of revolutionary love.
