On the eve of her 28th birthday, Ocevne has no doubt: by titling her first album NISHATI, a Swahili word meaning energy, she wants to share with her audience the different feelings that coexist within her. Built with the aim of reflecting Ocevne’s personality, this ambitious record is conceived as a complete and coherent work with multiple facets. The singer was able to rely on the experience of rapper Tuerie, creator of the project Papillon Monarque and winner of the Joséphine prize in 2023. As the producer of NISHATI, he enabled the young singer to surpass herself in terms of writing, choice of themes, and performance.
