France, Croatia, drums, piano, all have found common ground: instrumental storytelling. The Obradovic-Tixier Duo, often cited in a style similar to that of Gogo Penguin or Snarky Puppy, portrays its vision of today’s society as that of a clumsy juggler.
Jiggled Juggler (the juggler thrown off balance) is a collection of original compositions in which each track describes a specific subject.
The juggler, taken as an allegory for this album, is the anti-hero that the audience is invited to discover. He represents the clumsiness of our world, which has become fragile.
This fragility rests on its own architecture; a façade behind which so many wavering aspects of the 21st century are hidden.
Jiggled Juggler is an indictment of our world, but also an outlet that calls for hope for a better world.
