Oan Kim is an award-winning photographer. Having become a director, he also won awards with his documentary about his father: the famous Korean painter Kim Tschang-Yeul. A trained musician, associated with numerous groups (Film Noir, Chinese Army), it was during the lockdown that he composed and recorded his first solo album "Oan Kim & The Dirty Jazz".
This project immediately caught the attention of Jean-Philippe Allard and the new label ARTWORK RECORDS created with [PIAS]; as well as a promoter who sees the opportunity to present a multi-faceted contemporary artist, as comfortable in galleries around the globe as in concert in conventional venues, beyond the boundaries of jazz.
