Description

With an intense and enchanting voice, Nyna Loren has the presence of those who would once have been called witches: she is free. Both solar and lunar, the blend of her influences and emotions belongs to her. A shamanic violinist, she transposes her music into a dream where boundaries no longer exist. Genres are no longer a limit, and only emotions matter. F.E.M.M.E.S is both a whisper and a scream, a gentle urgency that is whispered to the soul to make the heart howl. There is a mix of depth and ether here, of white and black magic, an embraced ambivalence. Harmonized and mysterious voices intertwine with the lyricism of strings, the modernity of samples, and the tribal nature of shamanic drums. Sometimes a guitar with Spanish and even Texan accents joins in. This album is resolutely autobiographical but undoubtedly universal.
