Description

Numen is a black metal band from the Basque Country, inspired by the ancient beliefs of this region. The band makes its grand return in 2026 with a ruthless new album, offering uncompromising and epic tracks that transport us to primitive and icy ages, as well as to their dark and pathless lands. These anthems, written and entirely performed in Euskara - one of the oldest living languages in Europe - focus on the witch trials and the Inquisition in the Basque Country in the early 17th century. A culturally unique work, rooted in history and conceptually coherent.
