Sur vestiges

Description

Quintet for Shadows and Cello Great defenders of contemporary music, the Quatuor Béla and Noémi Boutin join forces to create Sur vestiges by the Franco-Argentin composer Daniel D'Adamo. The Quintet for two cellos was conceived as a preamble to the twilight Quintet in C by Schubert, with its powerful lyricism. Around the tragic theme of the young girl and water, Daniel D'Adamo wanted to "compose like one who gathers the remnants of a forgotten work, observes them, and recycles them with the constraints of his time." The Quatuor Béla represents the still water, a mirror of the beauty of the young woman who becomes intoxicated by her own reflection, embodied by the cello of Noémi Boutin.
