Concertos pour violon (Intégrale)

Description

Violinist Ning Feng performs the complete Mozart violin concertos with the Kammerakademie Potsdam on Channel Classics Records. These five concertos were composed because Leopold, Mozart's father, was frustrated that Wolfgang, during his travels, neglected the violin as a potential source of income, even though Mozart himself could play the violin beautifully and composed brilliantly for the instrument. Composed mainly in 1775, these concertos showcase the theatrical twists and turns that were now second nature for the 19-year-old composer, whose thoughts and dreams were perpetually turned toward opera and theater.
