Formed in Inner Mongolia in 2010 by singer-guitarist Askhan, Nine Treasures fuses heavy metal with traditional Mongolian instruments (morin khuur, balalaika), blending classical and throat singing. Their unique sound combines headbanging energy with progressive atmospheres, integrating unprecedented Mongolian guitar playing techniques. With four albums already released, the band has established itself as a major player in the Asian metal scene.
