Description

Nils Frahm is a Berlin-based composer and pianist who aims to establish a World Piano Day (Piano Day), a new annual celebration of the instrument that would take place on the 88th day of the year (a piano has 88 keys). To celebrate this event, he is releasing this new album titled Solo on the Erased Tapes label. This album offers a timeless interlude, and is tinged with restraint, melancholy, poetry, and hope.
