Born in 1989 in Bamako, Mali, Nfaly Diakité is a member of the Donsow, animist Bambara hunters from the Mandé region. 'Tribute to Toumani Koné' is Nfaly Diakité's first solo album, recorded in Bamako in June 2020. With this album, Nfaly wishes to pay tribute to the storyteller and poet Toumani Koné, who throughout his long career as a Donso has been a symbol of courage and honesty.
