Known for its unique blend of Punk Rock, Post Punk, Folk, Alternative Rock, and other sub-genres, refuses to belong to any musical style. Formed in Bradford in 1980, New Model Army has changed over the years but its frontman remains Justin Sullivan. A significant presence in the Alternative Rock and Post-Punk scene, the band has released many albums throughout its career, addressing social or political themes.
Their latest studio album From Here was released in 2019 and Sinfonia a live album in September 2023. This year the British band will release Unbroken their 16th album described as ‘Dark Motown’ by Justin himself, but powerful and emotionally intense, on which New Model Army continues to push the boundaries of its musical signature with recurring themes that have been their strength.
